Greg Fergus
Greg Fergus is the Speaker of the House of Commons of Canada, where he plays a key role in maintaining order and overseeing parliamentary proceedings. As Speaker, he ensures the effective functioning of the House, upholding the principles of parliamentary democracy and fairness. With a strong background in public service, Greg is dedicated to fostering a respectful and efficient legislative environment for all Members of Parliament.
David Smith
Provincial Parliament of Ontario
David Smith was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in the 2022 provincial election and currently serves as the Chair of the Standing Committee on Government Agencies. He represents the riding of Scarborough Centre as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario. As the previous Trustee for Toronto District School, Mr. Smith has worked to improve the quality of education for Scarborough students and residents.
Sandy Hudson
Co-founder of BLM Canada
Sandy Hudson is a producer, activist, public speaker, award-winning author, lawyer, and the co-founder of production company Above the Palace and Black Lives Matter movement in Canada. Hudson also helped found the Black Legal Action Centre, a Black community-based legal aid clinic providing direct legal services in Ontario. Among Maclean's 2021 Power List, Hudson is recognized as one of the most influential people in Canada.
